Barium Carbonate

Castle Colours' CB60 is a stable suspension of 60% solids high purity Barium Carbonate with a typical reactivity of >90%.

CB60 provides the heavy clay industry with a cost effective method of preventing soluble sulphate scumming.

The product does not require agitation during storage.  It is specially formulated to facilitate the easy pumping from storage vessel to the desired point of addition in your production process.

Castle Colours will also supply Barium Carbonate in dry powder form for those users who request it.

The Service

Castle Colours can conduct a laboratory assessment of your raw materials.  This will be followed by a works trial carried out by Castle Colours personnel to provide confirmation of product viability within your production process.

For users of CB60, Castle Colours will carry out routine soluble sulphate analyses of your raw materials at no extra cost.

This information combined with the high reactivity of the Barium Carbonate enables heavy clay product manufacturers to control the cost of anti-scumming.

Delivery of CB60 can be in a bulk tanker that will pump the material direct to your on site storage tanks, in 1000 litre IBC's or various sizes of drums.

For dry Barium Carbonate we will supply in most sizes of bags.

Delivery from point of order is normally within five working days.
